I had a patient who was humming something during and RF to stay relaxed. I asked what song it was and she told me it was 'here i go again' by Whitesnake. I sang the rest for her. I dont know which of us was more embarrassed.

Yeah, a couple of songs are there for the vibe. For example - Blanks’ Better Now is an 80s style cover of the Post Malone song.

Lots of classic songs I didn’t include because I just don’t want to listen to them. Note the absence of Cyndi Lauper lol.
 
I need to up my game... I just have been using crackly radio

I wanted to bring in an alexa so we could verify all our stupid trivia questions in between songs but apparently that device is not allowed🙂

Anyone have recs on good bluetooth speakers?

Jbl. Charge 4. Great at the hot tub.
 
I'm installing a pool in the backyard. Is it worth running speaker wire underground or just go with bluetooth? I'm old school and haven't looked into this in a long time, but I'm leaning toward just using something like the Charge 4s or a set of Amazon speakers. It won't be easy to hardwire speakers after concrete is poured.

If you want to listen to music while swimming for exercise, get an underwater speaker put in - Bluetooth doesn’t penetrate water. But if you just want speakers for entertainment in the pool deck, yeah, Bluetooth is the way to go.

Hm. Gave it a listen, it's missing that je ne sais quoi. Age of consent intro was my ringtone for a while.

You know how they used to air the commercials for greatest 80s hits compilation on CD? That's how I learned about 80s music lol.

I saw Kate Bush in London 2014. 2.5hrs working the catalog. Was in tears by the end.

Also saw Peter Hook & the Light, Summer 2018. One of those ghastly boiling August nites in central Texas. "You think it's hot, wait til you hear this one" Hooky announced before that guitar on 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' kicked in.
 
Got 2 pairs of Sonos One SL speakers our the procedure suites. Picked them up at Costco for a good price. Still expensive but they are a big improvement over the little Bluetooth speaker I had before. I’m by no means an audiophile but having 2 speakers at opposite sides of the room, playing in stereo sounds great. Seamlessly switches between speaker sets in the 2 rooms, or can play on both at once. Setup took a little wrangling due to the WiFi security settings but our IT guy got it sorted pretty quickly.

Uncle Tupelo when I choose to pick. Moonshiner and Sandusky are my favorite songs, but the Anodyne album is the best of the bunch.
