What are you using to do content review? Right now I'm working through TPR books and am going to refer back to my ochem, a&p, and biochem books if needed..

Doing TBR for everything except Biology in which I'm using EK. EK seems great so far. TBR can be a little intimidating with their 50+ page chapters. I'm pretty much following SN2's except Sometimes i alternate subjects, sometimes I don't, depends on what I feel like studying.

For Biology I will also be reading the physio based chapters in my Bio book before reading EK as my bio classes really didnt cover those chapters. Example: I'll read the nervous system in my biology book, and then EK on nervous system.

EK Bio
TBR everything else
NOVA for physics problems (in addition to TBR)

br for orgo is a bit overkill. i feel like if you have a decent background in orgo, ek should be fine supplemented with questions.

just REALLY know stereochemistry and how nucleophiles/electrophiles work (SN1/SN2).

And intramolecular forces, intermolecular forces, resonance, effect of electron withdraw, electron donation, functional groups, solubility.

For Bio: bio textbook, bio workbook, Barron's MCAT book, and my personal notes
For Chem: personal notes from A-levels, Barron's MCAT book
For Ochem: EK book, Kaplan Organic Review book, and my personal notes
For Physics: personal notes from A-levels

I may buy another bio MCAT book and maybe an intro text on genetics if I can't break 11 on the BS section after another month or so.

Wow lots of TBR.. Is there something bad about TPR that nobody seems to be using it? I like it so far. Bio & Orgo I was really strong in and just finished this semester so I am not too worried about those.. Gen Chem was about a year ago but physics was my killer. Wondering if I should use something else to supplement physics since I sold my physics books...

Also, what's everyone's opinions on the EK 1001 books? Right now I'm focused on content review and verbal practice. My TPR books have freestanding & passage based questions within them so I am getting some practice questions in that way. I also have the Guide to the MCAT book which has more freestanding & passage based questions. I was planning on finishing off with AAMC full lengths. Is it worth it buying the EK 1001 series? I wasn't sure if I should be doing even more practice problems or not..

My test is 3/24.

OH and does anyone know what the difference is between the new edition of Guide to the MCAT and the one from last year? Is it worth getting the new one?

I'm using TBR because this is a retake for me and I wanted a concrete schedule. SN2ed's looked great, and I believe the material you use to study is all the same as long as it covers everything on the MCAT. I like EK 1001 so far.

No clue about the guide to the mcat though.

I am using TPR/EK for Ochem/Biology. TBR for passages for everything. TBR for Physics/Chemistry. EK 1001. TPR Science Workbook. TPR FL, Kaplan FL, AAMC, EK 101. TPRH Verbal

I've used TBR and TPR for content review, but I prefer TPR. I think they just present things in a more understandable manner.
