this may seem like a stupid question, but i'm curious... to any of you that have been a complete waste on X day, and had to study for midterms/finals the following day, how are you able to cope with feeling like ****?

i'd always eat a fat meal.

a ton of sushi rolls or chicken fried steak or Taco Cabana crispy beef tacos with chips and queso were my favorites.

accompany with a bottomless iced tea with splenda and you're good to go. 👍

fuel and hydration.

Find your nearest friendly neighborhood paramedic or nurse and have them hook you up to a banana bag or at least some saline.

Failing that... pedialyte, ibuprofen, b-complex, and cheerios.

And splenda.

It's like hydrazine for people!

serious? i've never heard of that. hmm. interesting. ok i'll give it a go. too bad it wont reduce my frequents with #2... ughh. too much fiber, if you know what i mean.

my roomies and i would always go to get some mexican food. id get a fat burrito. coffe, redbull, use the morning to recover, then hit the books hard in the afternoon for as long as needed.

I only equated the two because I try to keep them both out of my mouth.

unlike me. . .

not a day goes by where i don't consume artificial sweetener in some form. i love diet drinks.

I have pretty poor reactions to most artificial sweeteners though.

I was completely trashed and stayed up to 3 AM couple nights ago, and the next morning I jumped out of bed and had an interview with my professor for LOR at 10AM

interview went well.

drinking a lot of water before you pass out the night before, and maybe even ordering jimmy johns. note: not acceptable to call after 3 am and beg them to open the store so you can have a beach club with no mayo (why were they even answering the phone when the store was closed?)

PKU disease? Possibly?

It's possible. But it also happens with non-aspartame sweeteners too.

Also, I don't have brain damage and I'm fully capable of eating other phenylalanine-rich foods without any ill-effects. I ****ing love nuts.

Thanks a lot *******, after reading your post I tried some hydrazine and I've been throwing up ever since. 😡😡😡

Oh, I see. I'm not too familiar with PKU disease.

I hardly ever use artificial sweeteners. If I'm going to have my sugar, just give it to me straight. I want my 31grams of sugar in my one can of coke.

Haha. I remember a "Lab Screw-ups" thread from a few months back where someone dropped hydrazine on their exposed skin and almost passed out.

Menudo!

Find a culture with a rich tradition of chronic alcohol abuse, and they will also have centuries-old methods of dealing effectively with the aftermath.

12 oz gatorade
Tylenol w/codeine
Multivitamin with meal when you can handle it

Back on topic, I like to drink coffee until I start to seize.

That usually evens me out.
