Anyway, I'd just like to say (nothing to do with the OPost) that even though a band is well known, doesn't mean they suck. At the sametime, some unknown bands are unknown for a reason - for example, a lot of the bands listed in this thread SUCK! lol. but i suppose this all depends on personal taste.

Nah, not so much alike. MC's more of a global gypsy and, often, straight-up jaunty. Both groups are useful for taking me out of my 'hood. Check out MC's "Bixo," "La Primavera," and "Mentira".

Oh, I definitely know they're not obscure. Especially after everyone seemed to think "New Slang" would "change their life". Just mentioning music I've been playing a lot lately.
