I have both EK 1001 phy and TPR SW. I know that I can't finish both of them and would like some opinions on deciding which one will prepare me the best for mcat physics. Thanks in advance 🙂
You don't need to finish any particular book. As I saw it when I prepped, it was great that there were too many problems to finish because I had a plethora of practice problems to work on weaknesses until they were no longer weaknesses, then I had many left over to keep them sharp until my exam.
I am currently getting 7 on ps section :/ but I think its due to lack of practicing enough problems. What would be the best way to use this book. I have heard some people say that its best to do every other question under timed conditions do you recommend this.
Side note: sorry for bombarding you with a bunch of questions I just really want to increase my PS score. Its the only section that I am very shaky on.
TPRH Science Workbook is awesome and the closet thing to the actual MCAT, use it. I also recommend getting all the other TPRH practice materials you can get your hands on.
Two other books that are good for Physics are BR Physics (the lectures and the practice passages) and Nova Physics. BR is just a little on the harder side, and Nova is easier than TPRH and BR, but I found it useful and it will be a nice start for someone who's not very confident in Physics.
