I'm thinking about taking PR's online GRE prep course (not the live-online, but the cheapest option there is lol). Can anybody tell me specifically what kind of printed materials you get with this course? Do you get any vocab flashcards or not? Also, those of you who took this course, did you use any other additional materials (Kaplan, Barron, etc)?

I used this course two summers ago and from what I remember there was three books and a list of vocab words, but no flash cards. I made my own, and that always works best for me because writing the word and definition down helps make it stick.

I think the course was well worth the money for me. I graduated 10 years ago from college, so it had been a long time since I needed to do the quant work, or write in that style. the online writing section where a real person grades your essay was useful. The practice tests were great! You just want to make sure you pick one of the schedules they suggest (30, 60, or 90 days) and stick with it.

BTW - 750 Quant, 630 V, 4.5 writing after the course. My pretest through the online course had me at a 600Q and 400V, so my score was definetly improved. Good luck studying!
