BCPM (biology, chemistry, physics, and math) courses make up your science GPA for the AMCAS application.
However, you can self-designate courses outside these four departments. For example, some schools have psychology courses that have major biology/neuroscience components and other schools have departments such as exercise science, microbiology, etc. that contain courses that can count toward your BCPM gpa. Also, some courses are supposed to be designated as non-BCPM (e.g., kinesiology and pharmacology). However, courses such as pharmacology and kinesiology are sometimes offered through biology departments. You can designate these course as a BCPM courses. AMCAS verifies your application, so they can make changes if they disagree with your designations.
