I'm taking the mcat on 8/16, and I'm wondering what people's thoughts were on how horrible the physics section was in April. Am I just getting nervous? 🙂
I definitely thought it was difficult, but then again physical sciences was always my weakest section (because of physics). However, I thought some of the gen. chem. was at least as challenging as the physics on the April test. I was still able to pull a 10 on this section, so it obviously wasn't impossible (especially considering my deficiencies in physics!)
I thought that the physical sciences section was the hardest section on the test, but the general chemistry seemed the hardest (although the fluid dynamics stuff was tough too). I ended up doing really well on it, though, so even though you may think it is hard on the test, keep your head up for the rest of the test, because you never know how it's gonna go! 🙂🙂

In my experience, most of the answers to the physics q's can be derived from a careful reading of the passages, along with some VERY basic knowledge of common concepts - force, PE, and kinetics.
Chemistry part requires more actual knowledge, but it is certainly do-able
When I am taking the practice aamc exams, the PS section feels much easier than the kaplan PS I took. Is the mcat PS at the same difficulty level as the aamc PS? If so, I am at luck
