i just found out that i didn't get into uf! 🙁 i still have 2 interviews, one at nova and one at louisville, but the problem is, they're both in late january. i feel like the majority of the classes are going to be decided upon on that time. i'm so disappointed b/c uf is where i wanted to go. i really don't understand why i didn't get in either. my gpa was a 3.72 and my DAT was a 20. i've also volunteered a lot and shadowed a couple dentists. anyone have any thoughts on what the hell i should do? also, is there still a chance i can get into either of these schools even though my interviews are so late? any replies would be appreciated.

Prepare well for your other interviews. Don't worry too about UF. Whatever happened happened.

sorry to hear about UF. i didn't receive "the call" friday and am praying i don't get "the thin letter" on monday. their process seems to be very subjective and is based on far more than stats. (ppl w/ 3.2 and 18s get in, while those with 4.0 and 20s get rejected?)...

as for your situation...go to your interviews with some confidence and just be yourself! i think this is the reason why i didn't get the UF call on friday.....i was a nervous wreck during my interview. you have great stats....you WILL get into nova or louisville!

Hey JB, I'm pulling for you! UF really is a great school even if I was rooting for Arkansas last night 🙂 I'm so spiteful.

Florida, I'm convinced UF takes everyones applications and throws them down the stairs. Whichever file lands on stair number 1, 4, and 12 they accept -- it just seems so random. So don't worry. You and I are both strong applicants and will make fantastic dentists wherever we end up. Good luck at your next interviews!

With ur stats you will def. get in to both schools. If you wish to stay in FL so Nova isnt a bad option for you. Actually a better location!!

Dont worry about Uf b/c your def. getting in to the other two schools.

seriously, i was stressing like crazy all day. when i found out last night, i was so disappointed. i really don't understand uf's way of admitting at all. i hope you are right about me having a good chance at nova and louisville. thanks again, and good luck to you all as well!!

Dude, you've two other interviews... you have nothing to worried about!!! Just consider yourself fortunate, some dont get interviews at all.
