Hey guys,

I've read on the forum that getting a score of 75 or greater on the Pre-Naplex means that you are ready to take the NAPLEX and receive a passing score.

I have also heard if you score greater than 100 on the Pre-Naplex that means you are ready for the CPJE.

Can anyone comment on this with your experience or what you may have heard? Thanks all.

I have to say the pre-naplex was mostly useless (I took it 1 week before the Naplex). It was all multiple choice, while the actual exam has a variety of questions (some fill in the blank, graphing, etc) so this was a shocker to me when I got to the Naplex and it was a completely different format. Shouldnt it be in the same format since its also by NABP? Also I thought the questions on the pre-naplex were easier except the math questions, which were slightly harder. I figure its pretty much a craps shoot when you take the actual Naplex because they can ask you ANYTHING (I had some very obscure questions) so even memorizing the APHA book would not have helped for those. However, the pre-naplex is only 50$ so if you need more practice taking timed random multiple choice pharmacy questions, it might be a good inventment for you. Good luck! 🙂

Just took the pre-naplex and scored an 82 with a range of 64-102. I was kinda disappointed that my score was a bit low and I felt like I wasn't prepared as I thought. Then, I read that some people here actually performed ABOVE their predicted Naplex score. I suppose it's a good confidence builder and a good indicator of areas that you may have overlooked on your studies.

Hello, this forum helped me in calming my nerves preparing for the NAPLEX so I thought I would share my experience.

My school paid for us to take the pre-naplex back in January so I took it cold and got a 74. I was scheduled to take my naplex on July 12th and hadn't studied much so I decided to take the pre-naplex again on July 8th. Got a 63 this time around and I freaked out since my job needed me licensed soon. Decided to push the naplex back to July 20th. Studied for about a week, took it and got a 111.

Summary:
pre-naplex: 74 and 63
naplex: 111

Pre-naplex seemed much harder to me, and a waste of money. Hope this helps.

Ok, just to share. My results and a friend's results. Both of us took the preNaplex on Monday and the Naplex on Thursday or Friday.
