What do we need to know about genetics?

I keep hearing that there is more focus on genetics for the MCAT compared to previous MCAT's. Assuming this is true, what specifically do we need to know about genetics. I'm taking TPR right now and there really wasn't much genetics related material that we've covered. Are there just going to be a bunch more crosses than before or is it more like cell cycle, recombination type stuff or what? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

umm from what ive heard:cell cycle stuff,recombination,linkage/mapping,variations on mendelian genetics,pedigrees,etc etc.

that should be a good enough start
