Just curious what the MD applicant pool looks like compared to the crowd I see at the gym. Obviously not a scientific poll or anything, just share...either your one rep max or your 6-8 rep weight for everyday lifting.
Cheers!

Geez what? I can do like 6 reps of 155 benching comfortably...wow and I thought I would be relatively strong for a premed student (believing in the stereotypes of studying all the time)
I thought this thread was a joke. You guys have got to be kidding me...
You guys are beasts. Height/weight?
Female here:

Bench 10 x 225
Squat 5 x 350 (or maybe more, I don't have a spotter)
Just got back into deadlifts recently.
I weigh 225.
How does this thread not have some funny stuff posted? SDN fail.
300 lbs squat for a high school girl? holy ****.I held the record for my high school for female squats at 300lb...thats the lift, not my weight..benched 130...don't remember my max at deadlifts but my mile was around 6:30...I think that gave me a scaled score of about a 33Q...they really do wear you out with deadlifts before the typically easy mile run 😉
5'8 - 205lbs
Max Lifts:
Bench: 305lbs (315 is like an unbreakable barrier...)
Squat: 475lbs
Deadlift: 555lbs (inches from 575 about a month ago!)
So everyone who participated in this thread is considering ortho, right?![]()
Use MUSCLE CONFUSION. 😕 Super effective!
