What do you guys think about my chances:
attended a community college and 4 year university
47 credits at CC with 3.92 GPA and 4.0 sciene GPA
86 credits at 4-year university with 3.46 GPA and 3.36 science GPA
cumulative GPA from both schools 3.6 and 3.52 for science GPA
    MCAT score : 36 Q( 12 vb, 12PS, 12 BS)

member of phi theta kappa honor society
    3 semesters dean list
1 year chemistry research ( 2 published papers, first author)
    6 month endocrinology research
    200 hours hospital volunteer
1 year and a half english tutor
1 year food delivery for the homeless

I'm mainly concerned about my low 4-year university GPA and also wanted to know if my CC gpa can save me somewhat although I hear that medical schools don't look favorably at CC GPA.
    Thank you

Unfortunately, it won't be good when schools see your uni GPA and compare it to your cc GPA. Based on the very large difference between the two, they probably would question your cc GPA and put more weight on the uni GPA. The good part is that you have a great mcat score and based on your brief descriptions, your ECs aren't bad either. You should definitely apply this year because there isn't much more you can do for your app besides maybe beef up your ECs. Put together a list of schools that have median GPAs close to yours and apply early. Good luck. You definitely have a chance of getting in.
