That is, of course, if you read at all.

I am interest in what my fellow pharmacists read at their leisure time. Please share what you like to read. It does not have to be just books or pharmacy-related, but anything that worth your precious time. There is so much information out there, so one has be to be selective to get the maximum out of his time.

For me, I like to read newspaper to keep updated on what's happening in the world. Other than that that, most of my reading time is devoted to On Food and Cooking because cooking is one of my hobbies. 😍

News, Discover or Scientific American magazines, SDN... if I do ever get around to books, I like non-fiction (history and politics) with a few highly recommended fiction novels thrown in.

I mostly read the front page stuff on reddit. CNN, NPR, several pharmacy blogs, and Derek Lowe's blog are also on the top of my list. It's kinda pathetic for me though. I have a folder full of pirated ebooks that I'll never get around to reading. Looking through it right now just reminded me that I wanted to learn Spanish 6 months ago. 😱 I'm drunk and going for it right now. Why not? Camino al espanol here we go.

SDN, T-nation forums
TAP, TAestP, Jim Plagakis, etc pharmacy blogs
SMBC-comics, Surviving the World

MSN - OMFG... is that reactor in Japan going to melt down or what??????? 😱 10 DAYS to fill it with salt water and boron? For realz...???

Well, I am paid to read a lot of medical and pharmacy and business literature, including relevant blogs, so I won't list them, though some I actually do enjoy reading.

Wall Street Journal, New York Times, BBC World News website, Gazzetta Dello Sport online out of periodicals.

Historical non-fiction and some select fantasy if we are talking about books. I used to be a fairly active and well-known Tolkien fan back in my college days. 🙂

Reddit and Surviving the World as others have said. Charlie Sheen's twitter. ESPN. Various investing books. Three Cups of Tea and Stones into Schools. The works of Neal Stephenson. And to everyone on here, if you have the slightest bit of interest in cancer, I can't suggest The Emperor of All Maladies enough.

Too many to list really... I love to read.

Currently reading the Black Dagger Brotherhood vampire series. It makes a change from my usual murder or suspense novels.
