what do you think of my prep plan? please advise

so i'm in my last semester of 2nd year, i'll be taking step 1 in mid july.

right now, i'm reviewing histo, normal physio, anatomy and path (all from class notes) while taking pathophys and pharm. For example, if this week is renal in pathophys, then i'll read the histo, physio, anat, path of renal along with the pathophys lectures.

so basically after school, i want to take 1 week off, thereafter put in 6 weeks (9hrs a day, 6 days a week) and basically memorize 1st aid and do UW questions (thoroughly reviewing all the questions, right/wrong doesnt matter).

i'm in the top 20% of my class.


what do you guys think??

I'd pick more HY resources to review than course notes during this time.

I agree with Bowtie. Class notes are not good for the boards because they hit everything, not just high yield topics. You should pick up other resources mentioned in majority of the posts in this forum.

The most important factor in a high score for someone in the top percentile of their class, is a organized review system such as Kaplan home study (for example, not that I recommend it) because if you have a good base, then seeing everything again is key. Make sure to put emphasis on your weaker areas and expose yourself to as many questions as you can muster.
