The director of admissions at my school was nice enough to send me an email with a copy of my acceptance letter so I wouldn't have to wait for it in the mail. Heh, I guess I showed how eager I was to get into school during my interview. Any, since you guys are asking what the letter looks like here is a copy of it.

It is your responsibility to provide the Admissions Committee with official transcripts upon completion of each term as well as any other supplemental application materials required to complete your file. After requesting that your transcripts be sent to our Admissions Office, please call us (after a reasonable length of time for preparation and mailing) to verify that this information has indeed been received. In order to reserve your place, we require a deposit of $500.00 to be paid within 15 days after the date of this letter of acceptance. If you have met the conditions for acceptance to the satisfaction of the Admissions Committee, and you choose not to attend the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, this deposit is not refundable. However, if you fail to meet the conditions for acceptance, the deposit is refundable. This deposit will be applied toward your tuition when you present your receipt at the time of registration. Please make your check or money order payable to the University of Detroit Mercy.
