Hi,

I'm wondering...I took at few pre-req classes (which were also for my major) and did not pass them (got D's). As for the ones that I passed I got C's. I'm going to have to take them again. In one way I see it is good, b/c I'll know the material on the DAT better, but will be delayed in graduation.

Currently my cum. gpa is a 3.0 with them (mainly b/c of getting straight a's in my gen. eds). What does AADSAS do with classes that you've retaken in regard to the science and cum. gpa they report to schools? Will this hurt my chances of acceptance?

Thanks!

P.S. I do have a reason why I did not pass these classes which I'll probably have to mention in the app (family reasons).

Sorry, but any class that you take, regardless of how many times you take it, will be averaged into your gpa. Your gpa will improve if you retake, however, your higher grade it won't replace your lower grade.
