???what does EMS and MS stand for in AAMC 7R/BS/passage X???

umm, i think you mean passage X in BS, not PS.....and i have no idea, hah, but luckily, it didn't matter at all that you didn't know what it was, all you needed to know was in figure 1 in the passage.

also, did you find the wording to Q203 confusing? doesn't B also make sense?

yeah 203 was a bit confusing, the way i looked at it was one of those, what is the best answer here kinda thing. While there is gut differentiation with the choices for B, there was also the same differentiation with only EMS, whereas option A showed differentiation right away. gotta love mcat wording, half the battle is deciphering the a lot of the times

If this is the question about gut differentiation cell signaling then if you look at the diagram. First line has EMS differentiating at 10mins, line two shows adding ab1 or ab2 doesn't change anything. Only when you add PS2 in line 3 does it occure without requiring any incubation, hence it's the best answer.
