Man there were some nice vacations on here. Kinda sad realizing this summer is my last official "free" summer *sigh*

Yeah, the best I have is from 8 years ago, and I've only been on one real vacation since then (and that was to Hawaii, so still in this country)
Once that this med school thing is done, I am planning some kick butt round the world trip so I can see all of these places that it seems everyone else has already been!

I saw Canada once when I was nine, but I don't think we actually left the US. Never been to Hawaii. Or Alaska. Last real vacation was last summer. Before that...when I was nine. I've always been too busy working and trying to help out my family to have time for trips and stuff. Some friends and I are going to New York later this month for the last hurrah before we're all separated. It'll do. Joined the Navy and thought I'd see the world. So far all I've seen is Great Lakes, IL (boot) and good ole' South Cackalacky. Maybe later.(although I HAVE enjoyed the shore duty I'm not supposed to be having right now😀)
we just gorged at this awesome restaurant in the city.
appetizers, dinner, and dessert - hell yes i was smiling, lol.
i'm just hungry all the time.

Hell yeah OCHO 👍. I've got more of those mugs in my house right now than I could hold at one time. Its what happens when your mom is from Germany and you bring souvenirs like that home all the time 🙂. I wish I had some of the pictures of the girls that we rode on the train with to the Oktoberfest, because they were ohmygodhawt and were wearing skimpy *** dirndls and heels........ OMFG.....

It was my co-workers last day in town, he was moving.. hence the sad-faces. I am on the right.
This is my dog.. he hates it when I study.. he doesn't understand why I'm not spending every waking moment paying attention to him. So he tried to steal my book when I went to the bathroom. 😛

Yeah our last vacation was our honeymoon almost six years ago to Hawaii but we are planning on going back hopefully in November. I will post pictures then. Honestly, we love Hawaii and don't have a current desire to go out of the country. Although I would love to go to China. You know, it being the motherland and all. 😉

Ohhh. Maybe I'll have to invite myself to East TN around Halloween. 🙂 If I dress up in dirndl, that skirt would have to be MUCH shorter. The top is perfect but I think somebody forgot their scissors on the bottom.

Yup, Navy. I was there for nine weeks total. My mom drove from VA for pass-in-review, then REFUSED to leave the hotel room. She is terrified of cities, so I' still never been to Chicago. Or anywhere else in IL for that matter. I would love to say I've been to Flanagan's, but alas, I have not. I definitely needed a drink after 9 weeks with screaming teenagers crying that they missed their mommy...the RDC was too mean...he doesn't like me anymore...I don't wanna shine my shoes...(I very nearly killed the whole lot of them) I am well acquainted with the galley in Ship 12, though😀...and ship 9...and...
