Hey everyone,

I've used Bootcamp and CDP for my PAT practice and have, for the most part, really enjoyed the experience. To get some extra practice, I recently began going through QVault. I have to say that, while it remains good practice (especially for Bio and Chem), I really find QVault's PAT problematic. They don't provide explanations, and often times I feel like the answer choice has something clearly wrong with it. If this was a rarity I wouldn't mind, but mistakes seem to pop up in every test. I've attached one (of many) examples for the community to look at (all credit to QVault).

Unlike most of their problems, QVault provides an explanation for their reasoning in the example I posted. The writer argues that if you look at it from the left/right side, one should only see a rectangle. I think most people will agree that from at least 3 sides there is a triangle jutting out. I agree that B, D, and E don't make sense, but can anyone explain why option C is correct?

Again, this is just one of many problems I have found. I feel like QVault's PAT problems often have proportions that are off and don't clearly discriminate changes in elevation, etc. Furthermore, while the question I posted has some plausible answers, I also found various questions that have no answers which make sense. That can be terribly annoying.

How do others feel? Do you agree with my analysis of this question?
