What does "science" letter of rec mean?

I know many dental schools say they require 1 or 2 letter of recs from science teachers. What if the professor teaches a class under the BIO dept, but the class itself is not considered to be BCP by AADSAS? The class is called Qual. Research Methodology by the way.

Does this still count as a science letter of rec?
