This semester I am taking Gen Bio I, Phys II + Lab, and Gen Chem II + Lab (13 credits)
I am also working at a day program for people with special needs as a volunteer, I am chairing their big fundraising event (between 2-10 hours a week). I also volunteer at the local ER for 4 hrs a week. I also am trying to go to the gym more to get my fit figure back. I feel like I'm not doing enough. What else should I be doing?

You could add an easier gen ed class if you have to get those done

It looks like if you add anything, you gain the risk of failing at something here. Take it easy, and if you notice your grades falling around midterms, cut something. Often times, you can simply take a 3 month hiatus from a volunteer position without consequences. If not, stop planning fundraisers and just stick with generic volunteering for the organization.

Eventually, seeing you've shadowed a physician would be nice. Do that in the summer but contact them in April.

Some physician shadowing?

So far I have about 60 shadowing hours, I would like to get more. I'm post bacc so I don't need any more Gen Ed credits unfortunately. I guess I'm becoming a neurotic premed. Oh dear!

Adding an additional activity in research, club activities, shadowing or leadership wouldn't hurt. Just make sure you don't sacrifice your grades. Looking and planning ahead for the MCAT also would be good.

At the end of the day, just make sure you have 15 solid activities you can talk about on your application.

About 50 hours is the average listed, but that should include a primary-care doc in an office-based setting, if possible. Be sure you've had conversations with the doc about challenges facing medical doctors these days so you can be conversant about them.
