What happened to the search function?

Has it been removed or am I just not seeing it where it used to be? Is anyone able to see the "search" link at the top?

It is temporarily disabled while server problems are being fixed.

Try using the google search bar at the very top right.

The google search bar sucks. I find threads I've posted in by searching for my own username and I can't do that anymore.

I say all donors should band together and express our discontent with the loss of the search bar. Its absence obliterates the usefulness of this site.

If search was engaged (before being fixed) resultant lag would make the website unusable. The database programmers along with the admins are working on a fix as fast as they can. It sucks not having a search, but reactivating it would make the site horrendously slow. Be patient, they're moving as fast as they can. 🙂

Trust me, it's no picnic for the mods either. It makes our jobs IMMENSELY harder. I assure you, we're going as fast as possible.
