Anyone know what happens 10 years after our Initial Certification if we are participating in MOCA? If we have met the 250 CME's as well as QI and Patient Safety Credits. Do we have to take Anesthesia Boards again?

They are five year cycles now and the quarterly moca minute questions are now take the place of the single high stakes recertification exam.

No it just resets and you’re recertified.

Those who got boarded in 2003 got to renew 10 year cycle to Dec 31 2032


But those boarded in 2004 Moca expires Dec 31 2029

The world is pretty f’d up.

I wasn’t planning on renewing my Moca when it was suppose to expire Dec 31 2035 but now it willl expire Dec 31 2030
