I was recently asked to state my "3 greatest accomplishments" (which would eventually be published in the program for an honors banquet). As I have been trying to think of 3 things to put down, I have come to the realization that I haven't really "accomplished" anything yet. I feel like I "do" a lot of different activities, but I don't think I have any real "accomplishments" so far. 🙁

So, out of curiousity, I was wondering what great things SDNers have acheived so far.

What are your "3 greatest accomplishments"?

That's a really good question... had to think about it for a few minutes.

Rough List:

1) Having two papers being published
2) Being Accepted to Dental School
3) Knowing that the profession I'll be entering I will be able to enjoy and be happy doing.
4) Living true to my principles and doing my best to enjoy life.

Hope that helps =)

No, seriously. The point of this thread isn't to talk about anything that I do. The point is to talk about what you guys have achieved, and what you guys consider to be your most valuable experiences/accomplishments.

Well compared to your predents biography I haven't accomplished sheeeit

Are you kidding? Look at your predents and stop bragging.

I agree. There is no reason to make a thread all about your extracurriculars especially after the previous thread about them. 😉

1) I've eaten 2 Chipotle burritos in one sitting.
2) I've slept 21 hours straight.
3) As a classical musician, I've travelled and performed in venues including the Carnegie Hall.

Three big things that just popped up in my head.

1) I too have eaten 2 chipotle burritos at once. It was during my lunch break (I was the cook).
2) I was the cook at a chipotle.
3) I won my high school pull-ups contest.

1)beat Mike Tyson's Punch-Out in one sitting
2)got to 98% in Gran Turismo 3 on the playstation
3)beat the t-rex at the end of Turok on xbox360

1) My Counter-strike team was 3rd in a city-wide competition in Moscow, Russia.
2) 100% Acceptance/application rate for jobs (>5) that I have ever applied to.
3) Won cross country skiing competition (in 4th grade, lol). I think there were ~20 schools participating.

AADSAS does have a limit. Quality over quantity.

1) I "solved" the original Tetris (Nintendo 8-bit) before many of you young-uns were cognizant!
2) My toothpick bridge got 3rd place at the Michigan Tech Engineering Olympics in 1996!
3) I went to band camp every summer in grades 7-11.

did they teach you where flutes go? 😀

No, I am proud to say that this was pre-American Pie. When it was just geeky to have gone to band camp -- not obscene!

I played the clarinet, anyway. Flutes could go in the garbage, for all I cared. 😉
