since i haven't taken it yet and some of the schools i'm applying to require it, would it potentially save me from getting rejected right off the bat if i wrote that i was planning on taking it the summer before matriculation? being a year away and all i think it sounds like a "yeah, yeah, i'll get around to it" kind of thing.

or should i just not put it down at all?

note: it would be for summer 2010 because i'm going to be working full time come september and taking physics II at night, and spring term it doesn't look like anyone near me will be offering biochem at night.

just trying to get all my ducks in a row before i hopefully esubmit tonight.
thanks guys!

I would list all your planned courses until graduation...obviously we can't know our exact schedules this far in advance, but they just want an idea of what our course loads will look like and they want to be sure we will complete all pre-reqs. Also, some schools have cutoff dates for admissions requirements to be completed, which may pose a problem if you're taking classes the summer right before matriculating. For example, I know Maryland's website says all requirements need to be done by June 30.

I called one of the dental schools saying that i stilled need to take one class but was not sure when and where i was taking it, and they said it is fine and that they would still give interviews, they said if you would be missing a chunk of the required classes then they would not look at u

ok, well i just graduated so i won't be having a class schedule or anything like that anymore... thanks for the info

Biochem was required at many institutions...

Also, some colleges will start in July, so I wouldn't list it for the summer. List for Spring semester, if anything.
