What if no home PM&R department

while getting a chairmans letter may be a helpful addition to your packette. I wouldn't overlook the importance of doing an away rotation, esp at an institution you have an intrest in applying and getting a letter there form an attending you worked the most with, even better if he/she is PD....

So at GW we don't have a PM&R department. Who do we get to write the "chairman's" letter?

My med school didn't have a dept either - so no chairman's letter. I got LORs from 2 physiatrists during my away electives from JFK and Kessler, and 1 from my home insitution. Otherwise, just 1 med/peds letter and 1 int med letter for my prelims.
