Thats a good question. I decided to take a class that I had in the summer over the regular quarter.

if it's a minor change and not a prereq, I wouldn't even bother. I had a very minor change in my Fall semester schedule last year and I didn't notify Columbia of the change until I sent in the final final transcript this Spring.
