I know there's no definite answer... but I would be interested in knowing what others thought 🙂 For instance, I read on the pre-med forum that some think that a 15-minute interview is better than a 35-minute interview. In my opinion, length of the interview doesn't really define anything. And then some believe an interview is going bad when they ask a lot of questions.

If you walk away from the interview and feel fresh and good about how it went then it was most likely a good interview. If you walk away feeling beaten down, misrepresented, or just 'down', it was most likely a bad interview.

Though, control for your own peronality. some people are way too hard on them selfs and others are not hard enough - so this isn't always true.

I think if you go into an interview and get across the points you wanted to, in a way that is consistant with your personality, it was a good interview!

What if you go into it sort of nervous and shaking?? I feel like my answers were good but I was nervous when I gave the answers 🙁

I believe... what is the most important selectional criteria is actually how well you click with your interviewer.

Just to reiterate, your interviewer does not make the final decision on your acceptance. They are merely envoys or messengers on your behalf. They are there to scout you out and make recommendations to the adcom on whether or not you'd make a good addition to the school.

Thus, what is my point? The more you are able to bond with your interviewer, the more likely they are to write a good recommendation on your behalf.
