What is a good step 2 score?

What is a good step 2 score for Derm? Ie within what range should I feel comfortable updating my usmle transcript? I read somewhere 254 is average for Derm... I got in in the 250s on step 1 and a few points lower on step 2.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!!

I would go ahead and update your transcript. Most programs do not look at your Step 2 although I understand more are requiring it to be completed prior to application. I'm assuming your score is 240+ which should be fine (and likely won't hurt or help you much)

I'm actually curious about this too. I got low 240's on Step I (so not amazing for derm by any means).

Just took Step I and got the same (exact) score. I was getting getting 250-low 260s on practice exams. Sort of frustrating, but is this really a big deal or will no one generally care too much?
