what is a green book rotation?

I've noticed the phrase "green book" used regarding clinical rotations- to be sure your rotation is "green book." Would someone explain to me what that means?

Is there a list of these hospitals somewhere on net?
Do you have to be a hospital in order to be in green book?

The ACGME "Green Book" has been replaced on-line by FREIDA.

Since most residency programs are hospital based, a large number of residency programs are located at hospitals. However, some will be community based programs with preceptors and a few hospital rotations (as required by relevant specialty board).
