I know this is a stupid question but can anyone provide information about what an academic medical center is and how that differs from other medical centers? What kind of psychologist might work at an AMC? What's a CMHC?

Academic medical centers are usually attached to a university and produce scholarly research. CMHC stands for community mental health center. Sorry for keeping it so brief. I'm not sure if this is a homework question or not.
