What is better 4 LORs from US Docs or really good ones from 2 Canadian and 2 US doc

Just wanted to ask what is better:
really good LORs 2 from US and 2 from Canada
or
2 good and 2 not so good but all from US, for applying to residency.

I did 3 of my electives in Canada and my doctors in Canada can give me very good LORs.

Appreciate any response in this regard.

All US doctors would probably be preferable, but Canadian MDs, particularly if they are academic MDs shouldn't hurt you too much. If you have 2 mediocre LORs, I would probably go for the 2 Canadian + 2 US that can give you the best LOR.

Canadian letters are fine especially if, as noted above, they are from LCME accredited programs.

I would not submit mediocre letters regardless of where they are from.

Despite the funny way they talk sometimes, Canuck docs are pretty much the same as US docs.

And a "not so good" LOR is something you want to keep as far away from your file as possible.
