what is clinical like at case

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I've gone to VCU and Case and while they both have their downsides, Case has what they call "PCC's" which are basically secretaries. There's one secretary for every 10 students or so. They find patients, schedule appointments, make reminder calls, do some paperwork/filing. Not that they're perfect or that you don't have to do any paperwork, but they're a great help. Plus, at VCU, you have to check out your equipment and get sent to whatever cubicle is available. At Case, you get your own cubicle for the 2 years your there, which means less lines to stand in.

Anyone have any insight on what the clinical experience is like at case western?

It's depended on each student. With minimal lab works and having my own operatory at Case, I've been practically treating patients from 10am-5pm mon-friday and extracting teeth from 5pm-7:30pm down at The Free Clinic.

Ok, now back to study for my Endo final exam. 😀 😀
