I got a 28S MCAT score 12 BS, V 9, 7 PS, planning to retake on June 15th, and scores aren't expected to be released until July 18th. Will applying a month and a half later, really hurt my chances? What is considered an early/ late application? I want to apply early..but I heard schools won't look at your application till your final MCAT score is submitted.

I graduated with a 3.75 UC GPA, 2.5 yrs research experience, over 350 hours of hospital volunteering etc.

THANKS for taking your time out to answer my ?'s.

you can actually go ahead and submit you primary and have it verified before you retake the MCAT. That way it's easier to stagger your secondaries.

but mid-july isn't going to be a fatally late date for primary submission. it would probably be fine to just focus on MCAT studying until after mid july.

if you wait more than 4 hours from the time AMCAS can be submitted, you're SDN late.

you'll be fine. submit the app as soon as possible, then let them wait on the new MCAT score.

I'm taking the mcat on the 15th, too. Just make sure you submit your primary early in june so you can get verified ASAP so all you have to wait on is your mcat scores before secondaries are sent out.
