On course classification, this is a selection. Does this mean Dual credit courses taken in high school?

No. This is the equivalent of "testing out" of Spanish by taking a competency test through your undergrad institution.

Dual credit is through a college- that should be listed separately. You'll have to have those colleges that you got your dual credit through on your application and then make sure you get those sent to AADSAS.

I'm listing dual credit as distance learning. I believe that to be very accurate since I wasn't enrolled/present at the university

Hmm... that might work too. I have dual credit too. AHHH. The ambiguity is killing me!

You don't think it'll be weighted much at all since they were in high school right? I took a few and got B's so I was kinda worried

Dual credit = your booty was in a high school desk but you were receiving college credit (you were enrolled at the college to receive the credit, you just didn't go there physically. you may have paid.)

Distance learning = your booty was at home because the work can be completed all online or by correspondence

Credit by Institutional/Departmental Exam = your booty took an exam that waived the requirement to take a certain course. Usually offered for introductory courses in foreign languages and the English department (basic writing).

@strep mutans there's gotta be a way for AADSAS to recognize that I took dual credit courses. If they don't have that option it's not right for me to classify it the same as my full time presence at a university

I'm sorry, I haven't looked at the AADSAS application yet, I didn't realize they don't have a designation for Dual Credit, that is very odd. (TMDSAS does have a Dual Credit designation.) I agree classifying it as a regular university course doesn't seem right, but apparently that's what you do... I found someone asking the same question on the ADEA AADSAS facebook page last year, and the reply to that person was: "there is no Dual Enrollment designation to select. Enter the term designation as Undergraduate and enter the information as it appears on the Community College transcript" (Source: https://m.facebook.com/ADEA.AADSAS/posts/669456836467240)

SMH AADSAS.

I have that dual credit listed on my current college transcript because it fulfilled dumb liberal arts credit... Do I submit all the transcripts, keeping those same classes on my current transcript so that there are duplicates? It says to enter your transcripts as they appear...

ciakfifoskfuanfkvusnfkgisjfjvksnfbgjske that question didn't even make any sense. Never mind.

For dual credit---a lot of those classes are taken on the college campus as well. I think the qualifier for Dual credit is that you had not yet graduated from high school but were taking college level classes either in your high school, at a community college or at a 4 year college.
