What are the examples of dexterity?
Because you know how during the interview or etc, they ask you if you have any dexterity experiences or skills? Well, what exactly do they mean by that?
Or can you guys tell me about ur personal dexterity skills or experiences?

Thanks for your time...

in dentistry the term manual dexterity is often used. i don't have an exact definition but it refers to being skillful with your hands. if you are going to be in someones mouth cuting tiny holes in there teeth you must have complete control of your hands. in the mouth a milimeter is like a mile if make a mistake you may ruin the chances of restoring the tooth that you are working on.
if you are good at drawing that is an example of good dexterity. if you not so good with your hands the skills that you need can be learned with practice. it just comes faster if you are already skillful with your hands. 😉

I guess I think of manual dexterity as anything that involves fine or specialized movement of the hand or hand/eye coordination. Thats part of what has me drawn toward dentistry. I enjoy ceramics and spend much of my time at work performing fine dissections. 🙂
