What is FCVS for? Do you need to apply for an account when?

Just want to know when does one need to apply for an account for FCVS on the FSMB website? And what is it's purpose??

FCVS is to help you apply for unrestricted medical licenses in certain states. You apply if a) you're going to moonlight as a locums, or b) if you're applying for a job in one of the states that prefers FCVS. Based on your post history, you are applying for residency now, so you do not need FCVS at this time.
