Every time I try to log on to this website it seems it's down. What's the deal? It's getting really boring to check back here 25,879 times a day. Is this ever going to get fixed?

Until then, be thankful that Lee opens up his wallet WIDE for us to be here. --Trek

I'm pretty sure Lee supports SDN out of his own wallet as a hobby. He uses whatever contributions are made from those ad banners to help pay for the site. Even when you buy an SDN T-shirt, it helps pay for SDN. I don't think a profit is involved, and if there is one, I'm think it's pretty small.

So thank you Lee! U rock!

foxy's right. Running SDN is not cheap.. It's not like Lee's running SDN from his laptop on a dial-up. To give you an idea, here's an 'excellent' deal on a T1 line:

<a href="http://cybert1.com/" target="_blank">http://cybert1.com/</a>

Local Loop
Unlimited Access
Full t1
$599 / month

Usually T1's cost $1200/month. (and that's only the fee for the bandwidth costs)
