I think ill have my app ready by this friday. My mcat score isn't going to come out until the following week. Do schools put off your application until they receive the mcat score? or do they start looking over it and wait for the score to come in? Also, is it important to send all my letters in when I submit my application? or can I send them in later?

thx!!

yea if this is your only mcat thus far, i'm pretty sure they will put your app off unless your GPA is THAT bad.

you can send letters later. just do it before you send your secondaries

na my gpa is fine...but im kinda worried about applying in late June/July. What do you guys know about this, I heard that it is important to get the secondaries in by August.

It's better to apply early but secondaries complete in August is early. I didn't finish secondaries until October and I was fine. I think having everything complete by August/Sept is a good goal.

The main reason to get things in early is to avoid the obscene waiting time while AMCAS verifies your primary. It can take up to a month if you wait too long, so avoid the line and submit in June or early July. No one is going to look at your application for much of anything until September anyway. Once a school gets your primary (some verified, some not) they will send you a secondary, but a week is not going to kill you at this stage.
