Hi everyone,
I asked a poli-sci professor who I studied abroad with to write me a LOR and he agreed but his policy is to first make you write your own draft. The class did not have anything to do with medicine or healthcare but I did well and he did get to know me quite well from traveling and class. What purposes do non-science letters generally serve? Should I just include a balance of personal and academic comments? Must I find a way to relate EVERYTHING back to my ability to be a good doctor or only include the things that show that?
Anyone else have to write their own letter? Any help is appreciated! Thanks guys
