What is interfolio?

What is interfolio? I know it has something to do with letters of recommendation. I go to a school that creates one letter by combining all the letters from teachers and dentists so do I need interfolio? seems a bit pricey.

To save letters....you can save them for as long as you like...incase you don't get in this year, you can still have letters ready for next year's cycle.
