What is "Non-Academic Recognition"?

TMDSAS just added a new category called "Non-Academic Recognition" (separate from Leadership, Academic Recognition, Research, etc.). What could be classified as Non-academic recognition?

TMDSAS just added a new category called "Non-Academic Recognition" (separate from Leadership, Academic Recognition, Research, etc.). What could be classified as Non-academic recognition?

I would image this would be along the lines of "Voted top coach" or you win an award for something you did outside the classroom.

I'd imagine it's what it says. Any kind of award you got for things not related to academics, research, or leadership. So if your town's mayor gave you some kind of lame award named after that thing your town thinks it's famous for in recognition of your involvement in the community, that's where you would put that.
