So, it seems that this year's AADSAS application is completely revamped and forgoes the old "batch" method. Instead, it's emailed out. I called my state's dental school (IU) and they said they just look at your app online through AADSAS. I had my application done a while ago and just got my DAT scores uploaded today, and I feel like that is late, because schools don't look at it without the DAT anyways, and since everything is now almost instant, the definition of 'early' seems it would be July 1st/ whenever applications open from here on out. I guess it's less of a question and a discussion, but I don't know if I am missing any information that can contradict what I am saying. If there is, please let me know!

ah, I forgot the whole transcript thing. So the speed of your transcripts getting mailed out/GPA verified is the determiner.

what do you mean by "whenever applications open from here on out. "

What I meant was upcoming years the application dates might open on June 3rd etc. Usually there's some variation in when they open but it's always early june.

I know it feels like a lot of people are applying early but despite lack of batches I'd say it's very similar to last year. Most people will most likely get their app in late July/august.
Lack of batches might make it a quicker process between schools receiving an application and starting reviewing. But I believe same amount of people have a complete application around 06/20-06/30. Its only a few people relative to July and august. Get it in as soon as you can complete it and you'll be fine
