What is the best prep book resource for Mendelian Genetics?

Any suggestions? Really curious to get input, especially from those of you who felt adequately prepared for Mendelian Genetics on the MCAT. What prep book did you feel was the best/most informative at teaching you the material? I feel some books omit a lot of necessary information or don't really go into much detail ...the kind of detail needed to approach most passages on the MCAT.

I used a textbook in 2011 to prepare for this topic a long time ago, but given it's been some time and because I'm short on time, I'm looking for a detailed but focused introduction of the topic that is specialized for the MCAT.

TPR bio gets raves on sdn.. I say try that if you haven't. EK bio gets praise from all the kids who's still know bio like the back of their hand, but if you want a full review (but not obnoxious i.e. TBR) use TPR! around 300 pages for Tpr, versus both bio books for TBR are 700+ pages of insanity.

The page comparison isn't entirely accurate, given that the TPR pages are only for the content, whereas the TBR books have content, passages, and explanations all in one. If you factor in the SWB passages/explanations for TPR then that discrepancy isn't as high.

However I still agree with you, TBR bio is overkill.

If you find a book you like for this subject, let us all know. I generally really like TPRH, but that chapter stunk. Is TBR better, I wonder?
