Hello, my question might be trivial, but I don't seem to know which part of the tooth socket is its fundus?

My Oral Histology book uses it a lot.

I tried googling it, but still I have no clear idea.

Any ideas?

Never heard that term, but looking it up it refers to the most apical portion of the tooth socket (the deepest concavity), basically where the apex of the root canal would be.
