So I took an organic chem course in my freshman year and got a C-. I know many schools only accept grades of C or better for the pre-req classes. But do you know if there are any schools that would accept a C-?😕 I am going to repeat the course in fall, but I wanted to apply this year. So if anyone can help me out..will b thankful!

what is the percentage value of a "C" in the US?..the organic chem course(s) that i took was/were split into two semesters..do i just average the two, or do both have to be above a C?

As long as you are retaking it in the fall.... you can apply to any school. Include the course in your 'planned courses'. Schools really only care that you have the required courses completed before you start dental school. You can also do the academic update deal after fall is over... the new grades and transcripts will be sent out and it will show your new passing grade for organic.

I got a C- in Gchem and never retake it. I got into multiple dental schools anyways so I think you should be good.
