What is the highest paid PA you know of?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Actually, this is not the norm for so-called 'outliers' (As they are usually in specialties -ER-Ortho-Derm-etc.), but I know of a few guys who negotiated w/ a Community Hospital for 250k/year x 5 years. The hospital later tried to get out of it, but the contract was iron clad😉 . As you may or may not know, this particular type of gig involves FP/IM Clinic, ER, Hospitalist, and mutiple minor procedures/often assisting on major procedures, NOT easy.........(Time and effort wise).

Definitely NOT typical. That's surprising to me.
There are certainly subspecialty PAs who do that well, and a *handful* of the old guard PAs still working who probably make that much, but you couldn't say they don't earn it. But do I know any specific figures? Nope, not really.
Man, $250 Gs for five years...goodbye, loans!

I know of ct surgery pa's and derm pa's who make 200K + with a residency but this is not typical.
a good em pa can make 125-160k/yr as can a surgical or ortho pa with the right group.
highest salary right out of school? around 90-100k without residency for em or surgery, may be in a not so pleasant place to live.....

I think this guy is just looking for the job with the highest salary. He posted on the PT forum also

I heard the same thing about a few derm PAs also, revenue usually secondary to Bx assemblyline 😀

I think that Derm guy was In NY! ~ 200K
