We have not gotten into systems yet, but have done a lot of immunology. Nothing like autoimmune diseases or immune deficiency, but more basic stuff.

I don't want to create an immuno test on uworld if its a bunch of stuff i probably haven't seen yet. is it basic stuff or is it pretty integrated with systems?

thanks!

It's not that hard if you've got a decent background. A lot of it has to do with trying to exploit the fact that what organism will trigger what immunity; and ofcourse the different interleukins in various scenarios which you should be able to handle if you've got the ropes.

There is integration with Micro, as it naturally should be.

I don't think you should be touching UWorld till you're within 3 months of your exam anyway. Start with USMLE Rx.

considering how high yield uworld is and how great of a learning tool it is, i decided to go ahead and buy it and use it along my classes.

multiple people at my school recommended this method, and i also saw on here multiple people saying they wish they had done it again or started earlier or something.

either way, i think both approaches have advantages!

There are definitely both types of questions in uWorld, likely more of the latter but it doesn't matter just do them and learn from them. Your % correct does not matter, you use uWorld to learn. No PD is going to ask what your % correct was on uWorld. The explanations are excellent and you will learn an incredible amount from them, read the entire explanation. You cannot do too many uWorld questions so get started and keep at it.....it will pay off.
People will tell you that you need 10 books and 5 qbanks to do well, you do not. You need a good path program/book (pathoma or goljan), FA, uWorld and perhaps some brain cross sections.
