My friend left a few pills at my house when she stayed with us recently. They are in an Advil PM container, but I'm pretty sure they're not Advil. They're small and oval-shaped, with 4H2 on one side (nothing on the other). Knowing my friend, it's either allergy meds or Adderall - but there's a big difference between those! Does anyone know what this might be?

It's 10 mg of Cetirizine hydrochloride (Zyrtec).

You are a pharmacy student and you do not know how to find this information? Wow.....

Why think or work for yourself when you can just wait for someone else to do it for you?

Turds don't flush themselves down the toilet, you have to do it for them, so lets get flushing!

I do now, no thanks to you. Thanks to everyone else who helped with this. That is what these forums are for, not to make other people feel stupid.

Anyway, I'll be a P1 in the fall, so you can't blame me for not knowing this.

Clinical Pharmacology also has a great pill ID program

You can't blame Mountain for making fun of you either. You are calling yourself a pharmacy student when you really are not, false advertising, so take what you get!:meanie:

So if my status had been pre-pharmacy student, or ignoramus, you guys would have just said, "Zyrtec, have a nice day!" I don't think so.

Why do people even wanna ID these pills? If I find pills lying around the house I just dispose of them.

pshh, whats the fun in that? just take it and try to guess based on what happens...:d

I know you are not yet a Pharmacy Student, but just for your info, drug information skills will be a very valuable tool in you near future. Nothing wrong with asking, but you can't expect not to get burned when you pass yourself off as a pharm student.
